History

P.V.D.T. College of Education for Women started as a department in S.N.D.T. Arts College, Mumbai, in 1951. In 1959 it was converted into a full fledge college with Marathi Medium and Gujarati Medium B.Ed. Classes. Since then the College has been actively engaged in teacher training program. It has been preparing women educators for over six decades. Our college is conducted college of S.N.D.T. Women’s University. It is aided college with qualified and learned faculty.
